About Marta C. Adint Weeks, the author.

In childhood, bedridden by polio, I was left with my hard working, and loving grandparents and was  joyful when, with the use braces, I could wobble down the stairs to their general store and or up a narrow stairway to the attic where books were kept; there, sitting by a window, I read and watched horses drink water from a large pila.

Other than nasty relatives I had Dorita, a kind aunt. I loved staying in her hacienda. In my early teens, I able to walk with braces I was sent from boarding school to California, to live with my mom and step dad.

As soon as I was of age I got a work permit and a job. Soon I saved and bought a Rambler. Then working in the garment industry I took modeling lessons. Was  a model and a dancer, with a very well know Hollywood agent, until  I met and married Vic; a wonderful and creative person.

When raising our three children I attended college and had a Community Information TV show until Vic, a beloved father and husband passed way.

I continued college and work and in time and love, John - a Railroad Imaginer- and I married. In my last ten years of State and Community Service, I was Program Manager, Research Analyst, and Public Relations Specialist. Now both retired, John and I live in a hillside community where in addition to public service John edits my writing.

Now I am ready to publish  On Wings of Immortals - a trilogy based on ancient myths and spirits from the beginning of humanity to times that some scientists speak of humans as having an elemental spirit called "natural tectonics." And is believed, in the ancient "Paracelsian concept," that there are "beings" who live longer than humans, and by marrying a mortal, their offspring can gain a soul.
