Last but not least, in my humble opinion, the best writing classes a writer can ever take is reading and listening to the masters. To me, that includes many such as Anne Rice, Jean M Auel, Carlos Castaneda, Elizabeth Kostova, JF Rowlings, Isabel Allende and more, may more.

A place to connect writers with Beta readers. Sometimes writers get so involved in the plot they can't see the wood for the trees. Hang on a sec'--that's a cliche and it's better to remove it. A cliche is just one of the things to look out for while writing. They can slip in unnoticed and ruin an otherwise great paragraph.
