On Writing

In childhood when limited by polio and slowed down by dyslexia I read curled up by a corner window in my bedroom or the attic of my grandparent's home store. Daydreamed of becoming a dancer, and did, also of being a writer.

In college, I favored Journalism, Anthropology, and History. After 30+ years of employment in government and private industry, I freelance for some publications and took courses in writing, take part in critique groups.

Published The Sylph's Tale, first of Immortals - the series. Will publish book two, Virgins, July 2018.

Have completed a book of 76 poems

Novelas in progress include:

The Dancer: A young woman overcomes disability and realizes that an equal challenge is to love and be loved.

Sweet Dreams: Love shattered by alcoholism but redemed in recovery.

Judy Malone: Infedilety wrecks a marriage but makes it stronger in recovery.

Cackacaras: An ancient and advanced people abandon their homeland and go live in cave cities to recapture their spiritual teachings.

In Freedom's Shadow: A bastard son born in Latin America overcomes poverty and becomes a prosperous man.
